Senior Dance Instructor
She/herMarella began dancing with us in 2010. She has trained in Ballet/Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Pointe, and always gives 100% in class. Her eccentric personality keeps things interesting in class. She joined our Jazz Competition Team in 2015, and added a contemporary solo in 2016. She has competed in many specialties and teams since and has grown with her peers. In June 2017 she played the role of Dorothy in our production of The Wizard of Oz. In September 2017 she started training in our NJADS Teacher Training Program. She won 1st Overall for her Contemporary Solo “Elephant in the Room” at Showburst Dance Competition in 2019 and 1st Overall for her Contemporary Solo “You Really Got a Hold on Me” at Fever Dance Champions in 2020. She enjoys helping out kids in class and watching them grow as dancers.
Marella loves helping young dancers find their confidence and watching them grow both on and off the dance floor. Dance has always been her outlet for expression and exploration, and she continues her passion today through our adult competitive teams.
