Dance Instructor
She/HerEmma has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She started at the Hamilton Conservatory
where she trained in ballet, jazz, and hip hop. She then began to train with Steps Performing
Arts Center when she was 9. Here she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and
musical theater. After her first year she joined the competitive team; since then she has
competed in Ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop. In 2019 she auditioned
for and join Glendale Secondary School Audition Based Program of the Arts as a Dance major.
While she was at Glendale she performed in 3 of their musicals as part of the advanced dance
ensemble (Legally Blonde, Cats, and Beauty and the Beast). She also was part of the senior
dance team at Glendale, where they performed in the Open Hearts Gala 2 years in a row. She
will be taking her training further and will be attending York University to be in their B.F.A
Honours Dance Program.
