Emillee York

Senior Dance Instructor

She/her

Since 2014, Emillee has been honing her skills training in a diverse range of styles such as Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. In addition to studio training, Emillee attended the Audition Based Program of the Arts as a dance major at Glendale Secondary school, where she received the academic excellence award for dance. The extensive training she was receiving both at school and at her home studio ignited a true passion for dance and the performing arts, beginning an exciting journey. Emillee has an impressive performance background, having showcased her talents in Times Square with Dance the World Broadway and opened for Blake McGrath. She has also been part of notable productions such as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (2018), Brott Music Festival: Imagine (2019) as an Aerialist, and Into the Woods (2019) as the Baker’s Wife. Through these opportunities, her love of dance was matched only by a love of acting, performance and story telling – which she now strives to teach to every dancer that enters her class. Emillee represented Canada at the 2025 Dance World Cup, coming home a 2x medalist and 5th place soloist. Currently, Emillee is attending the University of Toronto, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in pediatric rehabilitative sciences with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
