Acro Director and Asst. Competitive Director
She/HerMiss Dima started dancing in 2004 when she began training in Acrobatics. Then, as a result of her hard work and dedication, she got chosen in 2011 to represent her studio in competitions. In preparation for competitions, her training included Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Open. To advance her acrobatics skills, she took several advanced gymnastics classes. This gives her diversity in her dance background as she has been exposed to multiple dance styles. In 2014, she joined the STEPS assistant program where she learned the fundamentals of teaching dance and running a class. In her senior year, Dima became the captain of the St. Thomas Moore dance team where she led a group of talented dancers and created performances for dance competitions. In December 2019, she began teaching Acrobatics and Jazz classes for the 4-11 age group. After graduating with honours from St. Thomas More Secondary School, she went on to study Criminology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Miss Dima joined the staff of NJADS in 2021, and she was promoted to Acro Director in 2024. She is certified with Acrobatic Arts for Level 1 and 2 modules, as well as Aerial and Back Handsprings. Other workshops she has completed include Flexibility & Contortion and Mentoring.
