Dance Instructor
She/theyBecca Jeffery has danced all her life—quite literally. She began her journey at just 18 months old in a Dance with Me class alongside her mom. Though she cried through most of her first recital performance of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” she stayed on stage, and that was a win! Over the years, dance has helped Becca grow in confidence, and now she thrives in the spotlight. She describes performing as “a little scary at first, but once you’re on stage, it’s awesome!”
Becca has trained in Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Tap. While she enjoys all styles, she especially loves working on her acro tricks. She joined the NJADS Competitive Dance Team in 2013 and has competed in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, and Acro groups, as well as solos in Musical Theatre, Open, Tap, and Ballet categories.
Her leadership journey began in 2018 when she became an Assistant, earning over 150 practicum hours. In May 2022, she received her Assistant Teacher Certificate through Acrobatic Arts. She advanced to Dance Apprentice in September 2022, and by September 2023, she officially became a Dance Instructor at NJADS.
She has grown up seeing the walls of the dance studio more than her own home. With her minimal time outside of dance she enjoys spending it with loved ones. Slowly learning what is best for herself, she takes on challenges daily that make her question her character. She has stayed strong to her identity and is always authentically herself. Becca finds comfort in quality time with those she adores, the people who mean most to her.
