Becca started taking dance at 18 months old, in a Dance with Me class with her mom. She cried through most of her first recital performance of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” but she stayed on stage, so we called that a win! Dance has boosted her confidence and now she loves being on stage. She says that performing is a little scary at first, but once you get on stage it is awesome! She has trained in Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary and Tap. She enjoys all styles of dance but loves to work on her acro tricks the most! Becca became a member of the NJADS Competitive Dance team in 2013 and has competed on Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Acro teams, and had Musical Theatre and Open Solos. In 2019 her Jazz Duet “Oh La La” won 2nd Overall in the Junior Duet/Trio category at Fever International Dance Competition in Milton. Becca became an Assistant in September 2018 and has over 150 Practicum hours. In May 2022 Becca earned her Assistant Teacher Certificate through Acrobatic Arts. In September 2022 she because a Dance Apprentice, preparing to teach classes on her own, and in September 2023 she will become a Junior instructor teaching her first dance class!
