Junior Ambassador
Meet Katrina, our 2026–2027 Junior Student Ambassadors!
Katrina is 7 years old and loves all things Acro! She first started dancing because she wanted to learn cool tricks, and now she loves mastering skills like cartwheels, handstands, chest stands, and headstands. One of her proudest accomplishments has been learning an elbow stand—a move she worked hard to achieve through practice and determination.
For Katrina, dance is all about having fun and making memories with her friends. One of her favourite dance memories was performing a lift with her friend Didi in Acro, where Didi held her upside down!
As a Junior Ambassador, Katrina hopes to help everyone feel like they belong by making them laugh and including others. She believes that trying your best means practicing until you get better, and she’s always ready to encourage a friend who may be feeling shy or needs a little extra confidence.
When she’s not dancing, Katrina enjoys swimming, drawing, reading, and practicing her Acro and Jazz skills. She dreams of one day joining the NJADS Competition Team, becoming a dance teacher, and—if she could choose anywhere to dance—it would be with dolphins!
